The process of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis later was her new norm. After 80 straight days in hospital, from death to recovery she finally made it home but her life was forever changed. Angelica was, following a full half-year of dialysis, and one year half, was now ready for the most significant operation ever - a kidney replacement. It was her mother who donated her kidney. Angelica Hale underwent a successful kidney transplant alongside her mother on the 13th of September 2013. The procedure was conducted in Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always thought of becoming an actor and a singer, is still pursuing that goal.
